The practice was commissioned to develop fit out options for marketing purposes for a vacant ground floor unit within a 12 storey mixed use residential and leisure development in central Manchester.
Part of St George’s Gardens on the edge of Castlefield, the unit has prominent frontages to Arundel Street and Chester Road. As a corner unit, its internal space is long and narrow, and we have looked at ways of organising the circulation and the front- and back-of-house arrangements, creating an effective and convivial space to market to prospective restaurant operators.
